A Survey of Signcryption
John Malone-Lee
Bristol
The idea of signcryption was first proposed by Zheng in 1997.
The idea is to provide the combined functionality of public key encryption
and signing in a more efficient manner than a composition of the two
primitives.
In this talk we survey subsequent research in the area. We will discuss
formal models of security and schemes that admit to proofs of security in
those models.
