The British Society of Neuroradiologists meets annually,
usually in October, at a centre in the UK or occasionally overseas. Meeting arrangements
are coordinated by local BSNR members. Joint meetings have been held in the past
with the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (1988) and with the
European Society of Neuroradiology (1997)
The meeting now consists of two days of scientific
presentations by Society Members, and invited lectures by practitioners of
particular expertise. The James Bull Lecture, commemorating the first
BSNR President is given at the meeting, usually by a distinguished speaker
from overseas. The content and attendance at the meeting have grown
substantially since inception. Proceedings conclude with the annual dinner.
This year's meeting will take place in the Guildhall of the historic city of Winchester, hosted by Drs Barker, Ditchfield, Gawne-Cain, and Millar of the Southampton University Hospitals Trust
